The Plantonics CS60 is a mid-priced wireless headset with USB connection that’s aimed at the home and business market. The headset is wireless, and when connected to your PC it works with your VOIP application so that you can talk – without wires – to the world.

The CS60’s battery life is up an exceptional nine hours, and it comes with a charging base station which connects to the USB port of your computer. You can charge the unit from this, or there’s an optional power supply that you can use to charge the unit too (perhaps if you’re using the headset on a laptop, as this method will save your battery life).

The headset operates up to 100 metres away from the base unit – although why you’d want to talk this far away is beyond us!

Customers tell us that this wireless headset offers excellent audio clarity, with almost ‘telephone quality’ audio when used over VOIP. The handset is also exceptionally light and it’s been rated as ‘one of the most attractive headsets’ on the market. The price point for the CS60 is certainly at the mid to top end for wireless headsets. As with most things in life you get what you pay for, and this is certainly one of the most feature packed, lightest and more reliable headsets that we’ve come across.
