Polycom's flagship conference phone has become a staple of many office spaces with its stylish design complemented by unrivalled functionality. On a purely superficial level, the Polycom SoundStation2 will not look out of place in any business environment courtesy of a chic tripod design, jet black casing and high-quality backlit LCD display. You can even customise the ringtones. But get down to business and you'll find there's also plenty of substance. The SoundStation2 uses industry-leading Polycom Acoustic Clarity Technology to maximise call quality and cut out unwanted noise from the likes of air conditioning units and passing cars. Moreover, this device offers a full 360 degrees of microphone coverage, so it's what you say that matters not where you say it. Moving onto the interface, the SoundStation2 has a full numeric keypad and additional buttons for adjusting volume and speed dialling.
